Barnsgate Manor is ready for a summer of weddings and has launched a new website to show how you can make the most of a celebration at the venue.
Gary Mitchell, well known in the hospitality industry in the Uckfield area, has returned to Barnsgate, where he was based for 14 years until 2010, and is making plans to update the decor, furniture and carpets.
He is working with owner Keith Johnson, and manager Darren Butcher, and says the venue has huge potential. As well as plans to introduce a new look inside the building, more will be done outside.
There are plans to resurrect a garden trail so that families can enjoy games on the grass and a walk around the perimeter of the grounds.
Gary said: “This will all add to the experience of joining us here for lunch, teas, coffees, and for celebrations.”
Barnsgate is set within 55 acres, with views towards the South Downs, and caters for wedding parties of from ten to 200 people, hosting all aspects of the special day, from the ceremony itself through to dancing the night away.
Ceremony
If you would like to see the venue set out for a ceremony, and meet wedding suppliers, there will be chance to do that at a wedding fair on Sunday, July 28.
In the meantime you can read more about what is available for weddings and civil partnerships on the Barnsgate website and also book your own private tour of the venue by calling 01825 713366.
