Our original story: There will be chance to watch live today as Wealden councillors make a decision on whether to approve an outline planning application to build 1,000 homes in Uckfield.
The district council now records meetings which can be watched in real time or later online.
Reports, via the council’s new webcast facility, accompany agenda items at meetings and can be downloaded from a side bar at the right of the internet page so you can follow specific items.
A timeline button runs below the webcast page enabling you to advance video recordings of meetings once they have finished. This helps selecte the items that interest you. All you need to do is click on www.wealden.public-i.tv. The meeting is due to start at 10.30am.
Fixed cameras are positioned in various locations of the Civic Community hall which are activated by the speaker’s microphone.
Wealden councillors are being recommended to give outline planning permission, with conditions for 1,000 new homes to be built at Ridgewood Farm, Uckfield and a decision is due to be made today.
