Re-enactors on the steps of The Picture House

VE Day style and fashion at Uckfield Picture House

Uniforms and fashions from 70 years ago were recreated around The Picture House, Uckfield, tonight (May 8).

Military re-enactors, brought together by Duncan Bennett, and people dressed in the period-look were attending an exclusive advanced screening of A Royal Night Out, supposedly telling the story of what happened to Princesses Elizabeth and Margaret on VE Day evening in 1945 at the end of World War Two.
