Women’s champion Kathryn Colas who has been working for years to get people talking openly about the menopause will have a national TV audience tomorrow, Thursday, October 18.
Kathryn, who launched her SimplyHormones business six years ago, is due to appear on This Morning on ITV, with resident doctor Christian Steel.
Kathryn, lives near Uckfield and is a member of Uckfield Chamber of Commerce. She works constantly to lift taboos over discussion of the menopause and she argues that greater awareness of its effects and ways of combating them could be of particular benefit to businesses, cutting absences and increasing productivity.
She is talking to a variety of companies about the possibility of introducing workplace courses and in the meantime is taking her messages directly to women through online bootcamps.
The first Mentoring through Menopause Bootcamp was launched this week and Kathryn was delighted when Woman’s Own magazine carried a story earlier this month highlighting how her own struggle for information about the menopause led to her setting up a business to help others.
Kathryn shares the results of her research on her website www.simplyhormones.com and gives details of her Mentoring through Menopause Bootcamps on her Facebook page SimplyHormones – Mentoring Through Menopause.
