Mayors from local towns attended and Olympic ice dancer and gold medal winner Jayne Torvil was there too, mixing with contestants, signing autographs and posing for photographs. Jayne is an honorary member of Bexhill Lions Club.

Games played in the contest included relay races and popular team games such as Dinner for 6, Duck Pond, Hang out the Washing and Postman Pat.
