The Singers entertained at the Civic Centre with a variety of songs, from pop to folk, musicals and films.

The first half of the programme began with Crazy Little Thing Called Love, by Freddie Mercury, and finished with a medley of songs by Richard Rodgers. The second half started with Let the River Run by Carly Simon and ended with a medley of highlights from the musical Grease.

The musical director was Tina Gelnere and the pianist was Kim Retallick, with additional keyboard accompaniment by Daniel Card.

Funds were raised for the children’s hospice through a raffle and a giant cheque was accepted by Georgina Cook on their behalf.
