Uckfield Singers entertained with seasonal songs, and singalong carols at a concert on Saturday night.
There were also performances, at the concert at Uckfield Civic Centre, by Trys Mudford and Lauren Coates, who were accompanied by Steve May-Miller, and soloist Tom Wasels.
A grand raffle raised £415 for St Wilfrid’s Hospice and a cheque was presented to Sarah Marsh, representing the hospice, by the choir’s chairman Nick Poole.
Sarah thanked everyone for their generosity and told the audience that the hospice serves the local population both in patients’ own homes, and in the hospice itself in Eastbourne.
St Wilfrid’s also has a base at Uckfield Hospital which enables a closer working relationship with the local community.
