Uckfield silence for London and Manchester terror victims

Uckfield will join in the national one minute’s silence to pay respects to those who died and were injured in Saturday’s (June 3) terror attack on London Bridge and Borough Market.

Uckfield Civic Centre, where the town council is based, will formally mark the occasion at 11am today with the rest of the country.

Last night, members of the town council’s general purposes committee, including Uckfield Town Mayor, Cllr Louise Eastwood, stood in silence to remember the dead and injured from both the London and Manchester attacks.

The Union Flag out side the civic centre has been flying at half mast.
