Jewellers W E Clark & Son are offering 20% off rings throughout March, in addition to 15% off everything else during lockdown.

This includes new stock, see some examples below.

W E Clark & Son is planning to reopen on Monday, April 12, in line with new Government guidelines. Social distancing and hygiene measures will be in place, such as hand sanitiser, a limit on customers in the store at any one time, masks to be worn and Perspex screens in place.

Garden furniture at SG Home Interiors

With sunny weather appearing again and thoughts turning to spending time outside SG Home Interiors has taken delivery of new garden furniture.

Home-grown Sennetti at Staverton Nursery

Home-grown Sennetti  are now available at Staverton Nursery and brightly coloured primroses are in flower.

There are also spring bulbs, and starter packs of bedding plants available for the keen gardener who wishes to grow their own plants on ready for the summer.

A new compost drive through is now in operation meaning you can drive along the side of the store to choose your compost, have it loaded for you and pay without getting out of your car.

The store is gearing up for the time too when people are able to enjoy refreshments while seated outside. Lights are now strung up around a canopy making a pretty setting next to the Spade n Spoon van.

It won’t be long before the Spade n Spoon at Staverton Nursery can start serving food in a covered seating area.

Spring stock arrives at Carvills

Spring stock is arriving at Carvills and the store is aiming to help you bring the outdoors inside.

New fragrances have been added to the popular St Eval Scented Tin Candle and Tealight range.  Check out the new fresh and revitalising scent of Cucumber & Black Pepper or the fresh and fruity aroma of Apple & Elderflower, both now available to buy from the Home Fragrance section online at www.carvills.co.uk.

Diane Hutt Gallery looks forward to April re-opening

Diane Hutt of the Diane Hutt Gallery is looking forward to re-opening on Monday, April 12, if Coronavirus restrictions are lifted as is currently planned.

In the meantime art is still being sold via the shop’s website which is regularly updated with new stock. There is a great selection of tempting works for Mother’s Day, including from Sam Toft, and delivery is free of charge.

Diane says she is delighted to have a beautiful equestrian original from the Frank Pretorius Debut Collection, and Young Sweet Love a new release from Hayley Goodhead.

Click and collect and delivery continues at PipeDreams

Click and collect and delivery services are still being offered by PipeDreams, the snow, surf and skate shop.

Owners Julie and David Hobbs are looking ahead to a time when they will be able to safely reopen the shop, hopefully on Monday, April 12.

Appointments can be made to click and collect from the High Street store, and free delivery can be arranged too, via the PipeDreams website. Just leave your telephone number and you will be contacted for arrangements to be made.

Evening takeaways available at Hartfields

Evening takeaways are available from Hartfields on Fridays and Saturdays until 7.30pm and include burgers and chillies.

The menu also includes Light Bites and Salads.

Chillies are slow cooked with spices, mixed beans, and a dash of dark chocolate and you can choose a burrito filled with rice, cheese and guacamole, served with sweet potato fries or rice and nachos topped with cheese and fresh chillies.

Burgers which are served in a Flint Owl brioche bun and served with hand cut chips include the classic, 100% chuck steak mayo lettuce, tomato and onion; American, 100% chuck steam, smoked cheese, barbecue sauce and bacon, or Mexican, 100% chuck steak, with spicy cheese, guacamole, and cos lettuce.

Chilli dishes and burgers are on the evening takeaway menu at Hartfields.

Other options are Lemon Chicken Breast, Panko Breaded Chicken, Halloumi and Mushroom, roast pepper, confit onion, chilli mayo and rocket, and Vegan Falafel.

Look out on the daytime menu are Hartfields own sausage rolls and Scotch eggs.

Little Sports Shop continues with collection and delivery

The Little Sports Shop in Uckfield High Street continues to offer a weekly, Tuesday morning, collection and delivery service.

And the family owners, Stephen, Wendy, and Finn Holliday, are highlighting product ideas to keep you active at least whether that’s running in the fresh air or working out at home:
