Uckfield Rugby Club to launch new mini and junior season in September

Uckfield Rugby Club has announced that the new mini and junior season will start on September 8, at 10am.

Boys and girls of all school ages as at September 1, 2019, are welcome to come along and play rugby at Hempstead Playing Fields, in Nevill Road.

Free tasters

No previous experience is necessary and free taster sessions are offered for the first four weeks of the new season meaning no membership fees, or kit, needs to be bought in advance.

The whole family can benefit from a child joining as the membership care entitles you to a range of benefits throughout Uckfield.

All-weather pitch

And, when the winter comes the club has access to the all-weather pitch at Uckfield College.

Every age group is looked after by a fully-qualified and DBS checked coach.

Profile boost

• Club chairman Gordon Buckland says rugby is set to have a big profile boost this autumn when the World Cup takes place in Japan.

He adds the England side are genuine contenders and the club is a great place for all members and friends to soak up the atmosphere, plus there is a well-stocked bar.
