Uckfield Rugby Club is bringing motorcycle stunt riders to a fete at the town’s Luxford Field on Saturday, August 25.
The club held a similar event last year to celebrate their 50th anniversary and it was so successful they are inviting townspeople to join them again.
BMX riders wowed the crowds last time and to ring the changes the Stannage International stunt team has been chosen this time. They will put on a spectacular show of motorbike stunts, high falls on fire, car jumping, quad bike stunts and more.
The club says this show is a first for the town and performed by a team holding two Guinness World Records.
Chairman Gordon Buckland said: “A thrilling and fun-packed afternoon for all the family will also include piano smashing, tug-of-war, wheelbarrow racing, dog show, Uckfield Concert Brass, lots of great side shows, licenced bar and great food.”
He added: “Sponsored by Peter Oliver estate agents, this event is a great way to spend your bank holiday Saturday. Entrance is free so come on down.”
The fete begins at noon on Saturday, August 25.
