Uckfield residents’ association organises Question Time session

A Question Time session is due to be held tomorrow, Tuesday, July 14, to give Uckfield people the chance to quiz community leaders on topical local issues.

The event is being organised by the Manor Park and Hempstead Fields Residents’ Association and will take place at Manor Primary School, starting at 7.30pm.manor-park-hempstead-fields-residents-association-un

The panel will include Hugh Hennebry, principal of Uckfield Community Technology College; Richard Judge, chair of the Uckfield Neighbourhood Plan Steering Group; and Carol Reynolds and Peter Waldock, Wealden district councillors for Uckfield North Ward.

Paul Sparks, chairman of the association said: “This will be an excellent opportunity to quiz these community leaders on topical local issues in a friendly and relaxed format.

“Questions may be submitted in advance to our secretary for those that are not available that evening or for those that might be reluctant to ask them in person on the night.”

The event is organised for the residents of Manor Park and Hempstead Fields and is open to non-members.

Residents’ association secretary is Peter Griggs, who can be emailed at mphfres@gmail.com.
