Update: 2.30pm, December 21 – The Environment Agency issued a Flood Warning for Isfield at 1.42pm.
It means flooding is expected and immediate action should be taken.
The warning applies to the River Uck and confluence with the River Ouse including Isfield Mill and White Bridge.
The River Uck remains on flood alert. It was announced today at 9:03am by the Environment Agency.
The alert also covers the Framfield, Ridgewood and Tickerage Streams. It follows a period of heavy rain.
A “flood alert” is the lowest level of warning meaning: Flooding is possible. Be prepared.There may be minor property flooding.
Environment Agency staff are on duty in Uckfield.
More than an inch of rain has fallen in the last 24 hours but the deluge is now easing.
