Uckfield Mayor, Cllr Ian Smith, is organising a charity gala dinner and cabaret which will take place next month on Friday, March 20.
He’s hoping it will be an evening full of laughter and music which will include performances by Britain’s Got Talent finalist ventriloquist Steve Hewlett, magicians Kevin Morton and Daniel Burr and dancing to The Corvettes.
The charities Cllr Smith has chosen to support are Chestnut Tree House Children’s Hospice, Raystede Centre for Animal Welfare and the Wildlife Rescue and Ambulance Service.
Tickets cost £42 – which include welcome drink and three-course meal – and are available by calling the Mayor’s Office, Monday to Friday, 9.30am to 3.30pm on 01825 762774, or at the reception desk at the town council offices in the Civic Centre, Uckfield.
The event will take place at the East Sussex National Hotel, from 7pm until midnight on Friday, March 20.
