Uckfield Lions have presented £600 to Help for Heroes. This was half the £1,200 raised on a car run in September.
Help the Heroes representative Louise Pye said: “This money is vital to help with the work done by the charity. For each of the serviceman that sadly lose their life in conflict there are around six that receive life changing injuries.
“Help for Hero’s provide a wide range of services to help support these men and women recover after their injuries.”
