Train operator Southern has announced service changes to the Uckfield Line for tomorrow (February 27) in a bid to keep the trains running during the expected snowfall.
Services will only be hourly tomorrow, although trains will have more carriages than usual as the company expects the worse effects of the ‘Beast from the East’.
The normal pattern of departures and arrivals at Uckfield (and Buxted) is half-hourly during the morning and evening peaks and hourly throughout the day.
