Uckfield flower shop owner plans to move business

Lisa Hepburn, owner of The Flower Shop in Uckfield, is planning to move and expand her business within the town.

Nothing has been finalised yet but commercial agents Oldfield Smith & Co have begun marketing the High Street premises currently occupied by The Flower Shop which Lisa has run for 15 years.

The Flower Shop in Uckfield High Street is to let.

“I will continue running the floristry business from new premises and have other plans too which I will reveal later,” said Lisa. “I look forward to continuing to work with my account customers and shop customers.”

The Flower Shop at 128 High Street, is at the junction of High Street and Olives Yard in the centre of Uckfield.

It is next to Costa coffee and just down the road from Milletts, and Coles Menswear.

It has a large picture window overlooking the High Street and there’s an overall usable area of 104.7 sq m (1125 sq ft).

Oldfield Smith & Co say it is currently arranged as a main shop with small store, rear lobby leading to an office and preparation room.

There is also a kitchen/store, cloakroom and a basement. There is a side door to Olives Yard.

A new lease is on offer with the length to be agreed at a rent of £15,500 a year.

If you are interested in renting the property please call Richard Oldfield on 01825 762222.

As soon as Lisa’s plans for her business are finalised she will share the news on UckfieldNews.com.
