Bird in Eye Surgery

Update at 10am: Bird in Eye Surgery is continuing to offer a GP service to the community with appointments via the telephone in the first instance. Patients can also be supported, if necessary, with a video facility.

The surgery says it does have procedures in place to see patients face-to-face if needed, however if a patient has any Covid-19 symptoms they must contact 111 first.

The surgery will be opening on Friday, April 10, and Monday, April 13.  This will cover normal working hours and patients needing support are asked to phone the surgery first.

Bridge Cottage

Bridge Cottage has cancelled its next Cottage Market which was due to take place on Saturday, May 2, and the first Antiques, Collectables & Vintage Fair of the year which was due to take place on Saturday, May 16, 2020.

Surgery opening hours

Buxted Medical Centre has announced that it will be open as usual on Good Friday (Friday, April 10), and Easter Monday (Monday, April 13).

Meads Medical Centre, in Bell Farm Road, has also said that, thanks to staff volunteers, it will be open on Good Friday and Easter Monday to help alleviate pressure on 111and secondary care colleagues.

Hurstwood Feeds

Hurstwood Feeds in Coopers Green, will be closed over all four days of Easter and will re-open on Tuesday, April 14.
