Uckfield College students set for running and cycling challenge

Uckfield College students are taking part in a non-stop running or cycling challenge over 24 hours on Saturday, November 23.

The aim of the BTEC students is to raise funds for MIND the mental health organisation.

They say: “We want to play our part in ensuring that everyone suffering from mental health related problems gets the support and respect they deserve.

“And we want to challenge ourselves physically and mentally whilst also raising money for charity, relieving some of the stress of final year exams, and gaining experience of managing and leading an event which will help us in our future careers.

The students have set themselves a target of raising £1,400 and yesterday afternoon had reached £376.

If you would like to support them in their efforts please visit their JustGiving page.
