Muggeridge at the top of the order scratched around as wickets fell around him before eventually being bowled, writes Anderida captain Joe Burns.
Uckfield’s experienced middle order failed to fire with Huntley and Iswariah both out cheaply in strange circumstances. It was left to the lower middle order of Shelley, Vyas and Beedle to bring Uckfield to a respectable total.
Maresfield’s attempt to reach the target of 162 got off to a quick start as the openers looked to attack Uckfield’s new signing Moodi.
At the other end, Boniface found an early rhythm and was rewarded with three very useful wickets. Vyas also impressed with his control and pace and before long Maresfield were 7 wickets down and still 100 short.
A late rearguard action from the Maresfield tail brought a bit of respectability to the scoreline, but on the day, Uckfield were much too good.
