Tree top adventure park helps raise money for children’s hospice

An open day at a tree top adventure park near Uckfield raised more than £1,500 for Demelza Hospice Care for Children.

Branching Out Adventures joined forces with their neighbour Embers Camping to open up the entire area with all the proceeds benefiting the charity.

Hundreds of families turned up to have fun in the trees, zip-wire, swing, climb and bounce about in the woodland canopy supported by the Branching Out team who gave their time for free.

At Embers Camping there was face painting, tent-building competitions, and wood-fired pizza for all visitors.

Amazing team

Mark Oakden, of Branching Out Adventures, said: “What a tree-umph! A big thank you to our amazing team and the Embers Camping team, the fantastic volunteers and, of course, to all our tree-loving families who popped in on the day. This is everyone’s achievement and Demelza is a very worthy charity to benefit from all our efforts.”

Both attractions are set in woodland at Bentley in Halland.
