Town council submits retrospective planning application

Uckfield Town Council has submitted a retrospective planning application for a zip wire next to a new play area at Ridgewood.

The frame for the zip wire is already in place on the recreation ground next to Ridgewood Village Hall but the wire itself hasn’t yet been attached.

The planning application will be considered by Wealden Council and has been submitted following advice to the town council from the district’s planning enforcement office.

The enforcement visit followed complaints from New Road residents about the height and scale of new equipment.
