Uckfield shops are fully stocked ready for Christmas and gearing up to celebrate the season with late night shopping on Friday, December 6.

Real Christmas trees in all shapes, sizes, and varieties are available at Staverton Nursery, and you will find all you need to decorate them, and your home for the festive season there too.

Nose2Tail Family Butchers take festive orders
Nose2Tail Family Butchers who are based at Piltdown are taking orders for Christmas meat.
Their festive stock includes turkeys and all other meats including geese, beef, duck, gammon, home-smoked bacon and sausages.

Paws n Claws remembers your pets this festive season

Look out for Sidney the Squirrel at late night shopping in Uckfield on Friday. He is being looked after during his visit by the team at Chestnut Tree children’s hospice charity shop and will be out and about near by.
Have you seen the Chestnut Tree shop Christmas window? It looks great with the frosty bike on display.
Prosecco at W E Clark & Son jewellers
Prosecco and festive treats will be served at W E Clark & Son jewellers during Uckfield Late Night Shopping on Friday.
The shop will be open until 9pm, and a discount of 15% off purchases, excluding services, is also being offered during the evening.
Along with jewellery you will find W E Clark & Son stocked with Georg Jensen Christmas decorations and homeware, which make ideal presents and luxury decor, and tableware for Christmas hosting.
Tickets for the Children’s Respite Trust charity raffle are still available to buy with winners to be drawn on Monday, December 16.
Carvills open seven days a week
Carvills is now open every day until Christmas – Monday to Saturday 9am-5.30pm, and Sundays 10-4pm.

Capture foot and hand prints at Kilnwood Studio
The foot and hand prints of babies and toddlers are being preserved on special pottery gifts being made at Kilnwood Studio.
There are plenty of pottery pieces to choose from to paint and then have glazed and fired, but most popular of all, says owner Jane DeVay, are those first prints.

On the menu at Hartfields
The Christmas menu is on its way at Hartfields and will include a new brie, bacon and cranberry burger, and a roasted squash risotto.
There will also be confit duck leg, and Puy lentil stew. Turkey sandwiches will be available all the way through December.
Mince pies are on the menu too with home made brandy cream.
