New assistant manager at W E Clark & Son jewellers
New assistant manager at W E Clark & Son jewellers is Lauren Saunders. She has been appointed after more than a year with the firm.
A new range of coloured gem stones is now available at the jewellers including white topaz, amethyst, aquamarine and iolite. They are set in yellow or white gold, either nine or 18 carat.
There’s also a section in the window for special price items, where new or pre-owned jewellery has been reduced, usually chosen for inclusion because stock is limited. Additional pieces will be added over time.
The Kit Heath Dew collection of jewellery at W E Clark & Son is continuing to grow. Bees, dinosaurs, unicorns and pineapples are all proving popular and more pieces from the range, which focuses on nature and, animals are now available.

Kamsons has a wide range of products and perfumes at its High Street shop, from Clarins skincare and make-up to Bronnley luxury toiletries. There are bargain shelves too so it is worth popping in to see what is available.

Pom pom makers and materials for friendship bracelets are proving popular with children and their parents at Sew n Sew.
One mum shopping when Sew n Sew called in at the shop said her house was full of pom poms because her children loved the kits. As she spoke the children were looking through beads which could be added to friendship bracelets.
Also available at Sew n Sew, and perfect for rainy days are children’s cross stitch kits.
Winter wools are arriving at the shop – certainly not what everyone wants to hear about in the middle of summer, but for Christmas crafters the early warning is useful … they will need plenty of time to produce their presents.

A dolls house is among items for sale at Chestnut Tree children’s hospice charity shop in Uckfield High Street.
It’s unfurnished ready for a new owner to enjoy shopping for contents and is available for £200.
There’s also a man’s bike for sale at £70.
Plenty of tennis rackets at Final Score
If you are looking for a tennis racket you will find plenty of choice for juniors and adults at Final Score sports shop – and some are in a sale. There are all the accessories you will need too.
Summer sale at PipeDreams
There are lots of bargains with a summer sale in full swing at PipeDreams the snow, surf and skate shop in Uckfield.
Julie Hobbs, who owns the shop with husband David, said the sale includes flip flops, men’s, women’s and children’s clothing, including board shorts and bikinis, and beach shoes.
There are also UV sun protected tops for adults and children in the sale, and still available, though not in the sale are sun glasses.
A delivery of back packs is expected and if you like to get ahead in preparations for a return to school in September it will be worth popping in to see what is available.
There are plenty of scooters and skateboards in stock too. They are always popular during the school holidays.
New stock at Carvills
Carvills summer sale ends on Saturday, August 10, and new stock is arriving. Here is a glimpse of what is coming soon.
There are beautiful new bedding collections, including soothing, simple designs from Murmur with delicate throws, cushions, and towels to compliment.
There will also be the Sailor design from Sandersons Home inspired by the sailing boats at Cornwall’s picturesque Port Isaac.
