Air conditioning makes all the difference at Hartfield’s
The best thing about the refurbished and extended Hartfield’s coffee shop? Air conditioning, says James Hartfield without hesitation.
The cool interior means customers can take refuge from the sun inside, sit next to open folding doors for a mix of indoor and out, or make the most of the sun by sitting outside.
New batch brewed coffee
Also new at Hartfield’s is new batch brewed coffee, which is like an Americano, but with a precise measure of coffee to water to make the perfect long black coffee – as opposed to pouring an espresso and topping up with water as is done for an Americano.
James says this process gives a more rounded flavour showing off the subtle flavours of Hartfield’s own blend, with none of the bitterness associated with espresso.
