This will be the 20th anniversary of the festival which was launched to mark Millennium Year 2000 and tickets are now available for a variety of events.
- Sunday, July 7: Rudyard Kipling comes to Uckfield
- Monday, July 8: Pepper’s Ghost
- Tuesday, July 9: Rom Ridout’s ‘Handel on Jazz Ensemble’
- Wednesday, July 10: Natasha Norodien
- Sunday, July 14: All Things Must Pass Orchestra
Key features have become fixtures on the calendar, such as the colourful children’s procession which will take place on Saturday, July 6.
This is also the date for Uckfield’s Big Day Out when there will be community stalls on Luxford Field with music, children’s events, dance, and street entertainment too.
During the week The Festival Club will have free gigs in the Luxford Lounge – a showcase for local talent, often at the start of their careers.
There will be a classic car show on Sunday, July 7, and a picnic evening with music and fireworks hosted by the Rugby Club on Saturday, July 13.
The finale will be the music of George Harrison played by the ten-piece All Things Must Pass Orchestra.
