The Drive in Uckfield is due to be closed for four days while road patching takes place for four days from today (Tuesday, August 27).
The closure will be from 7am to 5pm from Church Street to Cambridge Way with traffic diverted along Church Street, Snatts Road, Claremont Rise and vice versa.
Notification
After the patching East Sussex Highways will return to carry out surface dressing and notification of that will be via warning signs on the site.
The highways department says the The Drive will be closed to through traffic but if you do need vehicle access then please discuss this with the team on site.
Highways say: “We will try to give access where we can but there may be long delays whilst we make the area safe. We will always allow access for emergency vehicles. Pedestrian access will be maintained.”
