Tesco in Uckfield where controversial plans for a shoe repair and dry cleaning kiosk have been withdrawn.

Tesco/Timpson planning application has been withdrawn

The controversial planning application to site a shoe repair, key cutting and dry cleaning kiosk at Tesco, Uckfield, has been withdrawn.

A Wealden planning officer has confirmed that the council’s website has been amended to show the latest status and that it should go live shortly.

There was huge support for local businesses which could have been hit if the plan had been approved.
