The work of talented senior students from the Rennie Dance Academy is to be showcased at Uckfield Community Technology College on Friday (May 12).
Students will perform in two shows at 6pm and 7.30pm including excerpts from their ballet, modern, tap and jazz classes.
Tickets will be available on the door, £6 for adults and £4 for children.
The performance is designed to encourage younger students and parents to come and be inspired by what can be achieved with hard work and dedication and to showcase the talents of senior students, several of whom have been accepted at top performing arts schools and colleges.
One of them is Lily Wanless who has danced at the Rennie Dance Academy since she was three years old.
Lily has successfully auditioned for the three year diploma course at Performers College in Essex.
Lily has danced with the National and English Youth Ballet companies and London Junior Ballet School, been a finalist at the RAD Ballet Awards and Janet Cram modern awards.
She has passed all her ballet, modern, and tap exams to an advanced level while at the school.
Rennie Dance Academy principal Kirsten Rennie said: “Lily has a bright future ahead of her and we look forward to seeing her name up in lights.”
