Superheroes look after customers at Uckfield’s Chestnut Tree charity shop

Superheroes welcomed customers into Uckfield Chestnut Tree charity shop yesterday as volunteers dressed up and organised fun activities to mark Children’s Hospice Week.

There will be more activities today including a children’s lucky dip, a colouring competition and free cakes and sweets, plus a tombola.

The shop can be found at 23 High Street, Uckfield.

Playing the superheroes in the picture below are, from the left, shop manager Angie Page, and volunteers Netta Chipchase, Oliver McGibbon, Claire Tremlett, Sandra Vonderdell and assistant manager Marc Woodcock.
