Sunday roadworks in New Town, Uckfield

Drivers have been warned of a temporary lane closure on part of a key road through New Town, Uckfield.

Eastbound traffic will prohibited on Sunday, May 24, on a stretch of Framfield Road.

The restriction is being put in place to enable UK Power Networks to carry out a new connection.

The traffic ban runs from the Framfield Road junction of the B2102 in New Town (the traffic lights)  to the junction of Harcourt Road – a distance of 232 metres.

The diversion is via the C26 New Town to the U7761 New Place and Harcourt Road to rejoin Framfield Road.

The works will be in front of the houses, just after the junction, on the left-had side as you head towards Framfield.
