Spitfire flypast expected at Framfield and Blackboys Summer Show

A Spitfire flypast is due to be one of the highlights at this year’s Framfield and Blackboys Summer Show, on Saturday, August 10.

The World War 2 fighter should be seen overhead at around 3.30pm and do three passes over Framfield Recreation Ground.

Show organisers say all this is weather dependent and also dependent on anything else that might take priority for the use of the aircraft but they are very excited to have been included on the Royal Air Force Air Events Team schedule.

Other attractions at the summer show, which starts at 12.30pm, include a scarecrow competition, fun dog show, entertainments and stalls.

Admission to the show will be £1 (children 20p) and there will be ample free parking.
