Thousands of people flocked to East Hoathly on Saturday night to take part in a Bonfire for Remembrance parade.
Blazing banners were carried to the bonfire site and poppies were carried too, each one representing and remembering a villager lost in the two world wars.
Construction of the Angel of East Hoathly bonfire was led by Keith Pettit. Read about it being built here.
