Special offer on Burgess products at Paws n Claws

Uckfield pet shop Paws n Claws has a special offer running at the moment – buy five products in the Burgess range and get one free.

This includes two kilos of Excel rabbit and guinea pig food, two kilos in the sensitive dog range, one and a half kilos of cat food, and feeding hay. You can mix and match products to make the most of the offer.

Justine Aldridge who runs the shop in Olives Yard said she is also pleased to be stocking a new range of raw dog food which her own cocker spaniels Maggie and Freddie are loving.

Justine said she is particularly pleased to have discovered it at a time when Maggie is having regular checks for cancer after under-going an operation and chemotherapy and she wants her to have a low-carb diet.

Benyfit Natural is produced locally too, at Sheffield Park, and Justine says she likes to stock local products if they are good.

The range includes Beef and Tripe, Succulent Beef, Tasty Turkey, Perfect Puppy, Meat Feat, and Premium Blend.

• And how is Maggie? At her last check-up she was clear of the cancer but Justine says she can’t relax yet because if it returns there is nothing else to be done for her much-loved dog.

Right now Maggie is still enjoying walks, loves her food, and her skin and coat are looking good.
