A smashing time was being had by all at the Uckfield Rugby Fete this afternoon – there was chance to hurl balls to smash pottery and teams were gearing up to use sledge hammers to break pianos into pieces at 4.30pm.
There were performances from the Stannage International stunt team who leapt vans on motorcycles, free fell from a height and ran around in flames.
Uckfield Concert Brass entertained, there was wheelbarrow racing, tug-of-war, a dog show, a licenced bar and food.
