Original story

Uckfield Line trains are disrupted again this morning (October 18) as another three-day strike gets under way.

A limited train service will operate today, tomorrow and Thursday with buses at peak times taking passengers to either Haywards Heath or Tunbridge Wells.

Travellers should not expect off-peak trains or buses.

The strike is by conductor-members of the RMT union over a change to their role and has been rumbling on for months.

Today trains are scheduled to run from Uckfield at 08:04 and 08:34.

The last morning peak bus from the town is at 9:01.

Buses operate from Uckfield in the evening peak from 17:01.

Trains from London Bridge to Uckfield are at 16:08 and 16:38.

After that it is buses.

Passengers should check their journey before travelling.
