An exhibition of work by the late artist Sheila Hay can now be seen in the window at Fuller and Scott funeral directors in Uckfield.
It will be there, and for sale, until Monday, October 7. Fuller & Scott can be found in Civic Approach, off Uckfield High Street.
Sheila’s work has regularly been on show in the Fuller and Scott window and funeral arranger Karen Crisp said she and her colleagues, funeral director Tony Fear, and funeral arranger Debbie Lynam, became very fond of her.
Karen said: “She was one of those people with a big personality. She was lovely, softly spoken, and very humble about her work which is beautiful.”
Sheila, who lived West Park, Uckfield, died aged 81 in May. Her husband Maxwell died two-and-a-half-years ago.
The Fuller and Scott team is also organising a Macmillan coffee morning in memory of Sheila on Friday, September 27, from 10am to noon, and all are welcome to attend, enjoy refreshments, and see the display of Sheila’s work.
