Second crash in two days at Herons Ghyll

Firefighters were called to the second crash in two days on the A26 at Herons Ghyll this morning.

The road was closed after a Skoda Fabia and a Toyota Celica crashed head on, trapping the Skoda driver.fire_modern_engine

Crews from Uckfield and Crowborough used hydraulic cutting equipment to remove the roof and doors and helped paramedics to remove the woman who received cuts, bruising and whiplash injuries.

Sussex Police are investigating the collision.
