Superheroes came to East Hoathly Primary School on Friday when children and staff dressed up to mark Comic Relief.
Costumes ranged from Spiderman and Batgirl to children dressing up as family members who they considered to be their superheroes and one member of staff dressed as an East Hoathly School pupil to signify what an inspiring group of children attend the school.
Children also took part in a talent show live on the playground and entered a ‘Design a Nose’ competition. There was singing, dancing, comedy, guitar and piano playing and even some football skills..
The school, which has 100 children on roll, were thrilled with the generosity and engagement of the school community, said head of school Vicky Lewes.
The current total raised for Comic Relief is £334 – the highest amount ever raised by the school.
