Saja leaves Kamsons Pharmacy today to begin new life in Palestine

It is all change at Kamsons Pharmacy in Bell Farm Road, as manager Saja Darwish leaves after today (Wednesday, July 22) to get married in Palestine and begin a new life in Nablus in the West Bank.

Saja has been at the pharmacy since it opened and previously worked with Kamsons superintendent pharmacist, Tim Golding, at the branch in Uckfield High Street.

Everyone at Kamsons is disappointed that she will be leaving but Saja is excited and looking forward to the future. She gets married next month.

Saja joined Kamsons after graduating from the University of Brighton School of Pharmacy and has been a popular and well-respected member of the local health care team.

The new manager will be Irishman, Conor Clancy (pictured with Saja) who will  be starting immediately. Conor has previously managed a pharmacy in Eastbourne.

Bipin Chotai, director of Uckfield-based and family-owned Kamsons Pharmacy who managed the High Street pharmacy for many years, commented, “We are all greatly saddened to say goodbye to Saja.

“She has helped to establish the Bell Farm Road pharmacy as the much respected pharmacy that it is and we will miss her and wish her every happiness.

“We are pleased to welcome Conor and confident he and the wonderful team  at the pharmacy will continue to deliver excellent service to the people of Uckfield.”
