Rowland Gorringe presents Easter eggs to Uckfield Foodbank

Twenty-three Easter eggs were presented to Uckfield Foodbank yesterday by Rowland Gorringe estate agents who launched an appeal for donations.

The eggs were collected by foodbank manager Lorraine Kirkwood – while taking care to follow social distancing rules and being mindful of health and safety – and they will be distributed in the run up to Easter to families depending on the charity for provisions.

Everyone who responded to the Rowland Gorringe appeal was given a raffle ticket which will be entered into a draw once the Coronavirus pandemic is over.

The prize will be a £50 voucher to be spent at the place chosen by the winner, either at The Highlands Inn, Truffles, Hartfields, or The Picture House.

Mike Symons from Rowland Gorringe said they were very proud to have helped out and they are looking forward to doing the prize draw once the lockdown is lifted.
