Uckfield Yoga Studio is two years old

Uckfield Yoga Studio is now two years old and owner Grace Annand has congratulated teachers and students as she celebrated the milestone.uckfield-yoga-studio-june-2018

She said: “We are all part of the Uckfield Yoga Studio, growing organically, motivated to contribute something positive and peaceful to our own lives and others. Long may it last and thank you so much for all your contributions.”

The studio has recently been redecorated – it’s all white – and yoga mats, blankets and eye bags have all been refreshed.

All welcome at Fuller & Scott Macmillan coffee morning

All are welcome at a Macmillan coffee morning to be held at funeral directors Fuller & Scott on Friday, September 27.

It is being organised in memory of artist Sheila Hay and there will be the chance to enjoy refreshments while also seeing some of Sheila’s work in the Fuller & Scott window in Civic Approach.

The display can be seen from Monday (September 16) to Monday, October 7, if you aren’t able to get to the coffee morning.

Quality, Provenance and Price boxes ticked at farm shop

Have you been to Nose2Tail butchers at Piltdown yet? Farmer Luke Watson and butcher Danny Martin have joined forces to take over the business.

They aim to compete on Quality, Provenance, and Price, and have quickly ticked all those boxes for the fare they offer.

Impressive sight at SLM Toyota Uckfield

There was an impressive sight at SLM Toyota Uckfield when 28 Aygo cars lined up all sign-written for Kamsons Pharmacy and ready for delivery.

Funeral directors bring bees to Uckfield town centre

Co-operative Funeralcare brought something different to Uckfield when they invited a bee group to exhibit at their premises.

Members of the group brought with them a totally enclosed bee hive demonstration for visitors to see and sold local honey, held a raffle and children’s lucky dip.

The Beauty Spot opens December diary

The Beauty Spot is looking ahead to Christmas and has opened its December diary.

The salon will be open as usual on December 23, from 9am to 6pm, closed on December 24, 25, and 26  and open again on December 27.

There will be a 50% deposit for any treatment booked the week before Christmas.

Aesthetics Clinic coming to Claire Davies Hairdressing next Friday

Claire Davies Hairdressing has opened its doors to an Aesthetics Clinic which will use first floor at the salon as a base on Friday, September 20.craig-wood-foxwood-clinic-claire-davies-hairdressing

The work of Craig Wood, of Foxwood Clinic, includes helping to re-balance facial symmetry. He is also trained in specialist skincare products to improve skin tone and radiance. The clinic undertakes “entire anti-aging programmes”.

Kamsons Pharmacy offers flu vaccinations

Kamsons Pharmacy is offering free NHS flu vaccinations for people over the age of 65 and to those on medicines which reduce their immune response, who have asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, diabetes, severe heart disease, liver disease, kidney disease, are pregnant or are a carer.

The vaccine is also available privately for £12 for patients who are not eligible for the NHS Flu Service.
