Ridgewood Post Office team chooses Christmas charity

The team at Ridgewood Post Office will be supporting the Save the Children charity this Christmas.

Sue Gothard, who runs the business with her husband Jon, has been busy knitting mini-jumpers to make bunting and attract attention to Christmas Jumper Day which takes place on Friday, December 15.

All seven members of the team will be at work in the Post Office that day and wearing their own Christmas jumper.

Donations to Save the Children will be collected in the shop and you can also donate £5 by texting TEAMRWPO to 70050. This will enable you to be billed for the £5 plus the standard rate for a text message. Save the Children say they will receive 100% of the donation.

Ridgewood Post Office is included in the Uckfield News Christmas shopping feature. You can find festive cards, wrapping paper and Christmas chocolates in the store now.
