Moves are being made to set up a residents’ association for the Manor Park and Hempstead Fields estates in Uckfield.
A public meeting is to be held at Manor Primary School on Thursday, November 8, at 7pm to discuss the idea and all residents are invited to attend.
Paul Sparks, who lives on Hempstead Fields and is a county councillor said: “It is rather surprising that this is the largest housing development in Uckfield but it currently does not have its own voice.
“We have carried out some research which indicates there could be support for forming such a group.”
He added that issues to be discussed could include infilling development, speeding, parking, footpaths and litter.
