Planning a street party in Uckfield to celebrate the Royal Wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton? Don't forget to get permission if you are considering a road closure.
Applications relating to the bank holiday weekend April 29 to May 2, must reach Wealden Council by Friday, March 18.
This will allow the council to consult with emergency services and East Sussex County Council to avoid jeopardising safety by blocking access routes.
Application forms are available on the Wealden website, search under Road Closures.
The council says interest is growing in Royal Wedding celebrations. So far it has received applications to close five streets and enquiries about another six closures.
