The official opening of the newly refurbished Parklands Play Area, in Maresfield, is due to take place on Saturday (May 4).
Refurbishment cost £25,000 and includes colourful new equipment making provision for children from 18 months to seven years.
It includes a play tractor with trailer, quad-springer, a multi-play tower unit with a slide, scramble net, and ladder, a playhouse, and a swing unit for children up to the age of 14 years.
Maresfield Parish Council says the project was funded from development levies and budget reserves.
The play area will be opened by Cllr Laura Stevens-Smith, who was instrumental in the re-development of the playground.
