The River Uck is again on Flood Alert after more heavy rain with levels rising rapidly.
The Environment Agency alert, the lowest level of warning, covers the Uck, Framfield and Tickerage streams.
“As a result of previous heavy rainfall on Thursday, the ground conditions are extremely wet.
“This is leading to the river levels rising quickly with the rain currently falling. With further heavy rain currently forecast for the rest of Saturday and into Sunday morning it is expected that river levels will continue to rise and remain high.
“Areas of most concern include Buxted and Isfield,” the Agency said.
Uckfield spent most of Thursday on Flood Alert. See here.
