Spectacular pumpkin carvings were on display at Little Horsted Church over the weekend.
The aim of the event was to help raise money for the church restoration fund. It was organised by Jenny Georges, whose husband Mike was selling tickets at the door last night. Many of the carvings were the work of their daughter Leah.
A total £75,000 is needed for heating – to protect the structure and walls from further deterioration caused by dampness – electrics; redecoration once the building has dried out sufficiently; pathways, disabled access and water supply.
