Previously undiscovered artists and photographers with raw talent are sought to take part in two exhibitions coming up at Bridge Cottage Heritage Centre in Uckfield.
They will take place in June and November and exhibitors should live in Uckfield and surrounding area.
Bridge Cottage is looking for new, raw talented individuals who have not exhibited before but feel ready and would like help in presenting their work to the public.
Liz Penton, centre manager, said: “Regardless of whether they have studied art, photography, or are self-taught and embarking on their first step to showing their work this can be daunting.
“Each selected artist or photographer will be assisted in getting their work to exhibition standard, with a workshop dedicated to marketing, pricing, layout and communication.
“Helping with the workshop will be artists and professionals who have hands on experience and will provide support.”
The work to be exhibited can be in any medium which expresses creativity.
The exhibitions will run from Thursday, June 28, to Sunday, July 1, and from Thursday, November 1, to Sunday, November 4.
There will be preview evenings for each exhibtion on the first day for friends, family, art lovers and gallery owners to view the work.
The exhibition will be open daily from 10am to 4pm, and the artists will be available to talk to, and discuss their work.
Refreshments will be available and admission free of charge.
