Police seek man following knife attack at Blackboys

Police are trying to trace a man following a knife attack at Blackboys on Tuesday evening.


Police have released this photograph saying it is Peter Stonley a man they would like to interview following a knife attack at Blackboys.

A 57-year-old man suffered a knife wound to his forehead following an argument with another man outside the Blackboys Inn, Lewes Road, Blackboys at around 6pm.

The victim, from Heathfield, was taken by ambulance to the Eastbourne District General Hospital for treatment.

Police say the man they are trying to trace is 49-year-old Peter Stonley of High Street, Horam.

Anyone seeing him is asked not to approach him but to phone 999, while anyone who knows of his whereabouts is asked to email 101@sussex.pnn.polilce.co.uk, or phone 101, quoting serial 1240 of 16.12.
